ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Upgrading from an old, homespun staircase, this countryside basement was outfitted with a spine staircase winding at an oak platform. The spine structure creates visual division between the oak steps and wood flooring, and with matching handrails to boot, the stairs perfectly complement the space in form and appearance.
